So you want to build a non-profit organization from the ground up. Great! I do have a bit of experience with starting a non-profit organization with a good friend of mine. I successfully co-founded Wind River Grow Our Own 307 and gained statewide public interest as well as receiving The Women of Influence Award in 2020.

- Create a board.
- Nominate a registered agent.
- Create Articles of Incorporation.
- Create Bylaws.
- Select your directors.
- Select your officers unless otherwise defined in your Articles or Bylaws.
Being apart of a 501c3 was one of the most rewarding experiences and I’m proud that me and my friends and family were apart of the journey. At some point I will return to the world of nonprofit, and of course blog about the trials and tribulations as I go.
